July 2026
We often like to snuggle down at home to keep warm during our dark winter evenings but God's kingdom is always advancing! We hope our news this month will cheer and warm you. There's still plenty to look forward to - including Dreambuilder's New Day Conference, Elijah House prayer ministry training courses and our Combined Churches Prayer meetings in the Spring. If you are a pastor or leader, please join us at our socials and business meetings.
See below for more information on all these events.

Crown Conference Inspires
The first regional conference hosted by Voice of the Martyrs at South Bunbury Church of Christ on June 6 was a wonderful success, bringing together more than 80 people from churches across the region. We are grateful to Pastor Michael Spencer and the SBCC team for their warm hospitality. Hearing firsthand accounts of Christians remaining faithful through difficult circumstances was both inspiring and challenging. It was a privilege to hear and learn from their experiences. Their stories will stay with us and continue to shape our perspective and prayers.
Alpha Impact
Both St Nicholas in Australind and Dreambuilders Church have been running Alpha courses this term. Around 60 people are taking part in the Dreambuilders Alpha, including a group from The Salvation Army in Bunbury. The St Nic’s Alpha, though smaller in number, is also making an impact. Katherine O'Neill at St Nic's says, “Alpha has been an absolute blessing. We have been watching people embrace the Lord and have had a few come to know Him and start exploring. Being able to enjoy a meal together has been fantastic and people have grown together. It’s been an amazing experience.”
Families Strengthened
About 160 parents, carers and chaplains attended YouthCARE’s evening with Justin Coulson on 8 June, exploring practical ways to build resilience in children and young people. Marg Garret, Chair of the Bunbury Regional YouthCARE Council, said the audience was fully engaged and would have happily listened to Justin’s insightful presentation for much longer. Those who attended left encouraged and better equipped to support the wellbeing of the young people in their care. We thank Justin for sharing his expertise and all who helped make the evening such a valuable event.
Save the Dates!
We are looking forward to 2 special Combined Churches Prayer gatherings later this year. The first will be at Eaton Baptist Church on Saturday 19th September at 6.30pm hosted by Ryan Quicke with special guests The Praise Project leading us in worship. The Praise Project is a group of musicians from WA who make music for churches to use in times of worship that are distinctly God-Centred. Bring the kids, your family and friends and lets make the most of this unique opportunity! Find out more about them here.
Join Us in Shaping BCCT’s Future
At this year's Dreambuilders Bunbury Conference, August God is inviting us - children, youth and adults too - into a NEW DAY, a God-appointed moment to encounter His presence, hear His voice, and step into all that He has prepared for us. Throughout Scripture, God often marked significant moments with a new day, a fresh beginning, a renewed purpose, and a new season of faith. We believe this conference will be one of those moments. Come expectant. Come hungry. Come ready for God to move. This is a new day; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Click here for more information.
