Bunbury Christian Churches Together – Why Bother?
We believe that as local churches we are stronger together. Praying together, sharing our news, events and outreach opportunities are all ways we can build strength and unity. Good communication enables this to happen. Please send us your news and information about events so we can help spread the word through the BBCT website, newsletter and Facebook Page. Information about Christmas events needs to be received by Thursday the 27th of November.
Stronger Together
About 35 people took part in the Combined Churches Prayer Meeting on October 26th at St Nicholas Church, Australind. We worshipped together and then prayed in groups for God's Kingdom to Come in our local area. We prayed specifically for our schools, YouthCare, local businesses, local media, arts and entertainment, including our Street Chaplaincy outreach; our government and our churches.
Someone shared that she had a picture of a single stick come to mind and then a picture of sticks intertwined. A single stick is easily broken; sticks woven together are difficult to break. This is a great image of the difference that Christian unity makes!
The date for our next Combined Churches Prayer Meeting will be advertised on our website, in our next e-newsletter and on our Facebook Page, once it has been decided. Hope to see you there!
